Who We Are

Kuet Hiung Contractor was founded by Mr. Chung Muk Shin in early 1995 with initial workers of less than 5 people to do works in grass cutting and maintenance of culverts. Going through 27 years of tough and smooth economy period, Kuet Hiung Contractor has in time evolved into a firm registered with both Unit Pendaftaran Kontraktor dan Juruperunding (UPKJ) dan CIDB. Kuet Hiung Contractor also started to expand further to cater the growing needs of both government and private sector. With our aims of establishing a truly local firm, our Group has always and in all times only engaged and hired local staffs, even though when the employment environment is challenging for local labours. Our Group also adhered to all employment requirements for our staff including minimum salary, full Covid-19 vaccination, Employment Provident Funds (KWSP), HRDF, Perkeso and Employment Insurance Scheme. In 2019, our Group launched our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program with our monthly engagement with local church in providing free grass cutting and weeding services.
